Talking head today says this marks the one year anniversary of the stimulus package. Dang, hadn't realized how much better I was feeling than 12 months ago and sure appreciate them letting me know I've been stimulated. :D

Foreclosures, unemployment, folks can't seem to afford necessities; that is one HELL of a stimulous package!!
I for one can't tell a difference, but than again I'am way, way, down on the food chain!!!

and i'm with ya mike about printing money. our last GREAT president was Andrew Jackson who got rid of the Federal Reserve. note, just because it's called "federal reserve" doesn't mean it's part of our government! he actually almost completely eliminated our national debt, and helped with Louisiana Purchase. GREAT!
there have been good presidents and bad presidents but if you are the president and don't see the importance is being financially stable, then you have failed the people... other good reasons for failing are: not protecting our borders, starting wars with nations that have never harmed US civilians, expanding the govt by taking over the private sector, if you name is Jimmy Carter, etc...
