Your thoughts

Should be getting my scent and hat today. I found these bass weights in a tackle box and was wandering if they would be good to use with the scent. I took the beeds and the clacker off two of them. There is felt in the center of them where you squirt the scent. I would attach the weights to the line and run a leader with a jig and scent. Do you think this would be over kill or what.

Very interesting. It can't hurt to try it. It would serve more to attract the fish to the area. Try it and let us know how it works.

Personally, I'd rather attract the fish directly to the bait, otherwise they might be sniffing and nibbling on the weight, and not on the jig.

But it's a great idea, try it and let us know.
