I have had better service out of the Wally Marshall Tightline Rods for trolling and drop shoting. I like the BASS PRO SHOP Microlites in the 5' 6" size for shooting docks.
I had a bad experience with BnM RODS customer help. The (lady) treated me like crappie!!!!! I told her I would never buy their product and support them anymore. She just did not care.
bm hold up very well we've been using them for the last 15 years .make sure when you buy one of the rods that it fits to the type of fishing you are going to do they make a lot of different choices. Mine myself highly recommend the rods.
BnM rods are what Ive been using for a long time now, the have the right pole for whatever type of fishing you do. Academy sports has some good deals on BGJPs right now.
I have used BnM and Wally Marshall rods. I have gone to Wally Marshall across the board but that is just my preference.
I am wanting to use these rods for drop shotting and spiderrigging what B&M pole should I use.
I grew up about 30 minutes from the store(mom and dad still live there and since im a student I still call Ms home) and I LOVE BnM rods. I use the 11 and 12foot Sam Headons for jigging, and I have 3 of the Capps and Coleman trolling rods for spider rigging, and I love them. I also have 3 bass pro rods for spider rigging and they are ok but I believe I will be ordering 2 more capps and coleman poles this week.
Im going home on Thurs so if you want I can pick up a few from the factory for ya. Save ya on shipping if you can meet me around Talquin or LAke City sometime
What would be a good size pole for trolling or fishing minnows in brush piles?
For spider rigging I like 14 footers, but I wouldnt mind having 16footers at times
i use silstar they cost about a third of the price and they are just as good in my opinion
