Feb. 7 Sardis Radio Tracking Report

Put in at Engineer Point today, water temp: 40.0 degrees. Searched the area from the dam to the mouth of Clear Creek and Point 7. Located 15 transmitters today, depths ranging from 10 to 43 feet and surface water temperatures of 40.9 to 44.9 degrees. One new fish today, so 22 of 25 transmitters have been located since tracking began on Jan. 18. Fish were tagged and released on Dec. 18. Several fish were found with schools that were suspended at 12-26 feet deep over bottom of 24-34 feet deep. Good luck fishing and please let me know if you catch a tagged fish.

Check out the map for fish locations from Jan. 27 to Feb. 7. Release area is marked and each fish is marked with bottom depth at that point. The two points that are the farthest NE are the same fish located twice. The rest are all individuals.

Thx for the map, am learning a lot. I have often wondered how far do crappie spread out in a lake because it seems if word gets out then there will be 100 boats n like a acre of lake and no one fishing elsewhere. Keep up the good work
