Tied these for local trout fisherman.... on their way to richwood wv, for alittle rainbow fishing

I did a couple for my brother in law from Pennsylvania last month.Out of all that I sent him,maybe 4 different colors,the nickle plated minnow head with black and grey tail was the only that caught fish.22 inch Brown Trout.So,he gets black and grey for now on.How do them bright colors really do?

their a 1/32 size 6 all my jigs are very well tied and secure.
