How would you use glow hot pink powder paint? Is it primarily for night fishing and would you use the regular chenille etc. like any other jig?I have been useing it with fl.pink chenille and gr.fl.featers and doing pretty good with it in the daytime.Looks better with a white base coat tho. Thanks in advance
Just my opinion here about any glow type jig. I have actually had more luck with them during the day time. My glow jigs will charge every time they come to the boat and the sun hits them. After all there is not a lot of light even when just down 8'-10' deep so no need to just use that at night and not sure it would out do a regular dark jig at night anyway.

As a veteran of many years of nite " fighting " as my friend calls it here are some of my observations.
1. Black is an excellent color to use at night So is purple.
2. Glow does work but think subtle easy to get overkill and fish avoid ( too unnatural )
3. Crappie have good night vision but not excellent say like a walleyes. So sometimes a little bigger profile works better
4. Lakes that have super clear water USUALLY have a better night bite than day bite.
5. Submerged light do attract fish but not from miles away ( as some ads say ). Think near vicinity.
6. Spots that are too snaggy to fish in daytime may be tried by anchoring near it and letting the lights do their magic. They will leave cover a lot more readily at night.
7. Off topic but two reasons I like to night fish Sunrise and Sunset. Two of the days prettiest times.
Glow jigs are very popular with ice fishermen who fish a lot at night.They use a zapper which is a little light to recharge their bait. Glow jigs work at night and deep water. I catch more gills than anything else with glow jigs fishing deeper water.

I tried night fishing for crappie with a glow jig and didn't do as well as just a good crappie jig. However during the day time I have used them some then too and they work better during the day.
Caught a few of my bigger fish on a glow jig fishing down like 12'-14' over brush.

I've never caught anything on glow at night!
Cloudy days and/or muddy water is when glow works best for me.
If you want a very bright glow paint, try ProTec in super glow yellow, you can almost read a newspaper with it it the dark!
A few questions about glow..Do you bake it like any other powder dip?
Does it work ok if you put a clearcoat over it?
I like the idea of glow in stained water or down deep.
