48 Degrees outside and burnt on Sunday.......

WEnt fishing on Glold Creek "Lake" instead of the pond or creek channel Sunday. After a very slow ride across the tidal waves, we prepared to shut down the motor to only realize the water pump was not working......:mad::mad:

Fought the waves and the 30 mph wind with only one bite all day (3 hours) and said the heck with it!:eek:

However, my dad and brother fished the creek leading to the pond and done fairly well. Fished shallow with black/chart. jigs around laydown structure about a foot deep.:o

Oh well, you win some, you loose some. There's always next time..............:cool:

I went Hunting for tree rats and it was no better, only seen on squirrel in the whole hunt, wind was bad and they were in their dens where it was not blowing, i figured that if i went fishing the results would have been about the same so it did not bother me as bad. It was still better than being trapped in the house with the tv all day.

Dennis I bet Dano would sell you some real mean minners you could catch some with.

Good to see you still fishing and posting.

Hope to see a cooler full of slabs next time I check in.
