I think that I did it correctly.Ruined 3 feathers before I sorta figured it out.I watched 2 videos,the first did'nt help,the second,the guy started off drinking beer,so I knew I could follow him,lol.Looks big,so did his,then he put it in a fish bowl and it sure had some good action,hope mine works like that.Oh yea,there's the new vise all set up correctly now.
You just might catch something that will stretch your string. Maybe the mighty largemouth.

Just that the videos were completly different.One the guy tied in the tip,then had a nice jig,I could'nt tell whether he wrapped the feather or what.The second he trimmed the feather,then tied it in at the quill end,thats what I did,I could see how he did it,I'll watch some more videos,lol.
Tail is a bit too long. Not bad for first effort.
Nice jig for a start!!! It takes a few to get used to working with marabou, we've all been there but it does get easier.
