Found a red I like.

How do you like this red? It is an exact match to the Danville red thread and I have been wanting to match it. It is a red "Marks a Lot" felt tip marker pen. It looks real good in the flesh, better than the pic. After I paint the eyes I cover it with a clear sealer(I used hard as nails). Anyways, works out good.

Just as quick as the weather gets better I am going to release the beasts. That second one looks mad and fired up.

depending on water color,and the belief that red" disappears after a certain depth,I would like an update ,after the jig is field tested.:)

I am anxious to test them as soon as the wind gets below 40 MPH, but I have always had confidence in a lure that had a little blood red in it. May not matter at all but you need confidence in your bait. Where you put the bait is by far the most important...Ray
