bad news good news
Bad news is since the freeze have not been able to locate the crappie on lake Erling catch a few on the small side every trip just nothing consistent or any size will keep working on it. Good news have new war eagle stick steer powered by 50 hp mercury 4stroke on order should be using it in a couple of weeks hope I do not regret the 4 stroke have been thinking about the change over for a couple of years just do not like to change.

You will love the 4-stroke.

I have been running one since 2003, I think you will enjoy it, they are a lot quieter and not mixing oil with your fuel to me is the best part.

The four strokes don't have the power of a two stroke, plus there is the higher up front expense but,
1. very quiet, definitely makes a difference trolling. I noticed increased catches trolling for walleye especially.
2. very reliable. You probably got a five year warrenty which should tell you something about the quality. I have never had serious mechanical problems with mine
3. fuel efficient = money saved
4. Much better for the environment and especially my lungs.
5. Obviously more convienent
