Triple A...(AAA)
Never had it,but get the offers in the mail all the time.I'm actually going to read it this time, just by scanning thru it ,it seems like a cheap piece of mind.
Now I have to get out the magnifeying glass and read all those "disclaimers" and fine print.
Any of ya'll got it-had to use it_comments pro and con??

I use to use it, they got pretty perticular on who I could call and how I was towed, use to get help then send bill, now call them they will dispatch one of there approved wreckers, now I just use road side assistance from state farm, daughter is an agent there so It help her if I get insurance form her, but it is good road side peace of mind as you say. check with your local agent you may have the same road assistance available

AAA has been pretty good the few times that I had to use them. I also coverage for my boat trailer with them. Overall, I would say they are a pretty good value.

Good deal IMHO
My brother is a AAA authorized wrecker businesman------- so I see both ends of it. I think it's a good deal if you're traveling much at all. At $40 to put the hook on your car plus $2.50 a mile it will only take one time of using it to pay for a years worth of coverage, (I just called my Bro and asked his rates and yes this is for a car or pickup). They will also bring you gas if you run out, change a tire, jump start. I know it's a pain to have to call AAA to have them call a wrecker for you but it stops wrecker drivers from abusing the system by running phantom calls, and I've seen their dispatcher get a call from a customer and her tell them to call the 800 number and then three minutes later AAA is calling the dispatcher to officially notify her that a wrecker is needed so it's not a big deal.

I Have It And Bulletman Says Just Use It 1 Time A Year And It Pays For Its Self
Now There Are Two Different Levels Which Have Different Distances That The Tow Truck Will Take You,,,,
Just One Less Thing To Worry About When Traveling

I just have tow insurance on my regular State Farm policy and it takes care of everything. I just call a tow truck pay the bill and turn it in to State Farm.

With AAA you want their RV coverage so it covers your vehicle AND boat/RV if you are towing.
-
We have it, about $150 a year for me,wife, and daughter. It is good for any vehicle you are in. One call to a tow truck would pay for all three of our costs.
I have used it for a lock smith (remember Bob:)) and when the daughters car broke down we had it towed to a mechanic from her house.
Very well worth the price.
Edit:
I forgot to mention, we get great prices for plane tickets, rental cars, hotels, tickets for six flags. That alone more than paid for the cost of the service.

Hey guys I am actually an insurance agent for AAA. If you have any questions let me know and I can help. If your interested I can also sell you a membership if you live in Missouri. Any questions you can pm me or my cell is 417-207-8285. Thanks Jason
Forgot to mention we are running a special right now where you can get 2 people a membership for the price of one for the first year. Also, as mentioned before if you are pulling a boat you need the rv membership, otherwise if they have to tow the truck they will leave the boat on the side of the road. With the RV they will bring 2 trucks, one for the truck and one for the boat. Than ks
