Night fishing for Crappie

Hey all,

I am thinking of purchasing a light for fishin at night. Does anyone night fish much? and if so any suggestions?? I was gona try to go tonight but didnt work out.

There used to be two guys that would come out to the pool on conway at night on bass busters. They would wear xenon headlamps and use flourescent colored corks. Little sneaky guys would sneak up on me after everyone else would leave. I stayed and watched them one night and they would wear em out. Got me out to buy the same set up. They would pitch it up on the banks and fish the drop offs just out from the bank.

The members on here from about three years ago are still recouperating from the famous nightstalk in February. You might be able to search it. Flyfinger wrote an artical about it that described it fairly well.
My fingers go numb just thinking about how cold it was. I still don't have any desire to do that again. Dano cooked some good burgers though.
