Lowrance HDS-5

Hey guys,

I just installed the Lowrance HDS-5 and I'm having some trouble with the sonar. I'm not sure if the transducer is too low or too high but I installed it on the same place I had my last fish finder. For some reason, I'm not seeing the arches for fish and I know darn well the whole lake isn't empty lol. Seriously though, I'm getting frustrated with it becuase I spent 700 bucks on it. If anyone has had this problem or if anyone has this unit and can share the settings they have, it would be greatly appreciated! :mad:

Go to the installation menu. Highlight transducer type box. Select your transducer. Press enter. Highlight OK & press enter. When you reset these units, they default:eek: to Unknown. See if that helps ya!!! <*)}}}><
