Wooly Worm Jigs
http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/a...9/DSC00205.jpg
Few days back I posted about tying some fly patterns on a jig. These are some of the first attempts. Wooly worms have always produced for me on a fly rod. I tied 1 1/100 oz and 3 1/32 oz
The ice up here is untrustworthy right now . Buty if it either melts or firms up I will give these a workout.

Very nice ties! I really like the 1/32 nickel heads.

They look good, nice job on the hackle.

hot looking
hays47 those are beautiful looking jigs. where did you get that power paint to paint the heads. I'm thinking about trying some up with grizzly Orange will try to post some pictures if I do.

Bob - those are nickel plated heads I got from flatfish46. In the roundhead he does 1/00 and 1/32 oz. I just sent him 500 jigheads in various sizes and styles to gold and nickle plate. Probably really go nuts tying then. I really like the flash that plated heads give off and have always done well on them.

That nickle plated head really looks good...the flash and sparkle from that should work good.

Nice jigs Hays, like the concept.
The 1/100 on there should really get after the gills.
