first time on the hard water

well for the first time on the ice i had a great time temp was about 12 this morning then it warmed up to mid 30's light wind great day to be out .
learned alot of new things ice was about 12 inches thick here in western md .
as far as the catch used med. large minnows and brought home 9 perch ranging from 11 to 13 inches big fat devils also caught 2 undersized pike all in all between 3 of us it was 26 perch 2 pike and a great day .

sorry for rambling but the wife just don't understand lol.,

Good job Scott. I to went ice fishing yesterday and caught 6 small perch. All went back into the hole.

i know ready 2 fish i went today and bought 2 tip-ups all the allowance would allow for now but still have time to catch up only allowed 5 at a time here in md . and am in the prosses of converting 2 broken poles into a jigging pole .
so once again i found something fun and as cheap as i wanna keep it . lol.
