Hey Shimmy, i ain't got no canoe, but for what a canoe cost you can get tractor inner tubes. they are light to carry and when deflated take up less storage. The Buffalo is known for small mouth bass, Let me know if you want some pointers on those. Bass fishing is my passion. I love tournament fishing, the run and gun high speed atmosphere is intoxicating. But for eating purposes, oh my, them slabs n taters cant be beat. :)
Orange & Brown plastic crawdads and silver/red rooster tails will work well for the smallmouth on the Buffalo.
I prefer to use a Pumpkin seed salt craw, on 8lbs flora carbon line, with a 1/8 ounce weight. Oh but lets not forget the water melon red sinko in the four in variety.
