Yup he caught it in 09...For some reason it took the IGFA that long to certify that it was in fact a world record....Not sure I understand that it is only a tie with a fish that was 1oz less....If it is bigger it should have been the sole owner of the record.
And BTW it was caught on a minner :)
Has to be 2oz larger than the previous record
