I think that this the first kip tail out of 4 that looks half decent.I like the colors.I'm still getting the hang of the chenille.Any better?

I did get rid of the red thread,lol.And am using real clear flytying thread,all thanks to Grand-Pa Bob,lol.

no problem with the looks of your jig I think you got the hang of it maybe a little less hair.

It looks like a good minnow jig.Nice color. With kip tie a little less in.With a bigger amount the kip wants to roll over to the side no matter how tight you wrap. You can always add more,just a little at a time. I like it.

Looks Goos, AZ. A bit thick(like mine) but a good tie. Maybe a little less of the first color kip and a streak of another? I noticed that most good tyers out here use about 3 turns of chenille. Mine look better since doing this. Just some input. Let the fish decide.

Why get rid of the red thread, red is a trigger color I always make my finish wrap with red looks like gills, they're red too. Look at all the red throats on crankbaits,topwaters, spinnerbaits, blood is red why would you get rid of red unless you would make it flame orange? Or hot pink! Or chartueuse?

Just for tying the chenille slip,red thread does'nt look to good seeing it through silver chenille,I love the red thread as a body.Thanks.
