I know the first guy that comes along will be able to answer this.I just got some chenille and was trying to use it.Can't figure how you put it on,lol.Tie it,have a special bobbin?I just tied it in a couple knots around the thread,looks ok,but don't believe it is correct?Help please !!
just lay it on the hook shank and wrap it in....here is a video on how it is done....hope this helps...

As for the video it is basically alright, but I do mine just a bit different. I start everything at the head and wrap back and then back to the head. My chenille I lay down much like he did, but I start right at the head and wrap it back as far as I am going and then take the thread wrap back to the head. Then I wrap the chenille starting at the back part and wrap it up tight against the head and whit finish.
Tying leaves a lot of tiny thing to each person to do like they want. So what ever works for you.

i do also....but this video is nice and slow and i was thinking he could get the basic concept
CrappieKiller,that video answered every question that I had.I even tied a jig while I was watching it,just so I could get the hands on and make sure that I did it right.Now,I can play to find the best way for me.Thanks again,Perfect !!
The brownish one is what I did with it first,lol.Had some leftover brownish bucktail at the bottom of the bag so,practised with that.Then the black one I did while watching the video.Just playing around.I'll figure what's best on the next one.Body size and the sort.
One more tip is don't cut the tails so they are all one length (squared off looking) so they look more natural. If you need to cut the length make sure to cut the end you tie in and not the business end.
