Tragedy almost happened!!!

My wife broke down and told me the other night she was gonna buy me an 1197 but she had been reading the reviews for them and they were not good. So in her state of confusion she decided to confer with me on this matter. After we read the reviews together, I told her that was too much money for something I might not be happy with(screen too big) and the reviews were much better on the 997. So as we cuddled and wiped the tears away from makin such a life changin decision, I helped her place the order. Now with that being said, WB you can come over to Columbus and I'll let you look at my big un:eek: if you want to. I ain't gonna let you play with it, just look! :p So as you can see, I have prevented a tragedy by waitin and lettin her buy it instead of me just goin out and doing something as stupid as spending $1900.00 on a fishfinder.

I'm jealous, saving for one now. Cabelas has the 997 for $1399 right now.

People with big screens are just compensating for their short comings. I've said it before, I'll say it again, if you can't do it with 5 inches, you might as well quit trying.

Good decision, I love my 997. Cant wait for January to get here so I can get the upgrade for DOWN IMAGIN.. That will be super cool.
