I was curious to know if anyones ever heard of having eye inserts on round jigheads. I don't pour mine, and I can't find anyone who does so I didn't know if it was even possible.

Check out do-it molds - they have a roundhead jig that you can attach decal or 3d eyes on.
Shawn Collins does some "pin insert" eyes on his bigger jigs - not sure if he does it on his roundheads.
i have a neat lil tool i made out of an old mini pliers that perforates about a 1/8 ,or 2mm size hole/indentation into any jig head lickty split"but the best way to get it done would be to buy a do it mold,or a do it mold blank let a machinist machine the eyes to the mold for you.just my $0.02:)
Tell Flat fish I sent you ,he's the man w/ the plan for all your custom mold needs. He can get it done for you buddy!!!
Hey, Grub.....how about a pic of the tool you made to indent eyes
on jigs? Would love to see it.
We take a hammer to around jig head hit with a hammer gently to make a flat spot the eyes will fit better.
i have mold with eye insert pockets...i think the smallest it pours is 1/16 or 1/8....but it has barb...
I was doing that Snake",but kept deforming the head even lightly tapping it warped it some ,so I took the hole punchers my daughter used to use in grade school, and I had a friend weld those lil round dowel's to my pliers.Works great, and both sides perf at the same time.Message";)
