Holy crap! That thing is HUGE!! nice catch. What did you catch it on?
Are you sure about those stats? That does not look like 3.25# to me -- maybe 2.25. It doesn't even look to be 16.5 inches. I'm just using my own hand and arm as an example. It's a nice fish, regardless.
Here's another shot...I did not catch it, but the guy who did was fishing for Striped Bass. He thought it was Bluegill! He has nothing to gain by trying to say it is larger than it was. He could care less. I believe the lake personnel weighed and measured it. Also I think that model rod has about a 16-17 inch handle.

Man thats a huge ear. Tell that guy i said great catch.
Man I would to have that one on my wall.
That would make every other sunfish caught seem puny for quite a while. Awesome fish!
wow now thats a nice one
I dont know anything about the weight or lenght but that is without a doubt the biggest cracker I have seen! If your whole thumb can go easily in a crackers mouth, which I think his could, well you have an exceptional fish for sure.:)
That`s one nice redear biggest I every saw. Thanks for picture.
