Assorted hair jigs tied for bass and crappie.

The brown and green ones will likely see a chunk trailer when presented to the bass. Head weights are listed as 1/8 of an ounce on the package. I suspect they weigh closer to 3/16 of an ounce.
The three 1/16-ouncers to the left should expect a float near some smallies and crappie this winter.

Great job with the hair,or crafthair.That stuff has great movement.I caught my second biggest crappie on a crafthair jig.You got it down perfectly.

Okay, I have to ask, how did you get the flair on them? The only way I know to do it is to tie the hair in backwards and then lay it back and tie over it. To me it looks like those are tied on a bulbed collar jig.
BTW, do you have a link for this craft fur? I can not find it at my local Wally World and there is not a craft store for 40 miles. Figure I might as well add it to my arsenal and maybe I will finally get a crappier out my local lakes.

I tied them on collared jig heads. I've done nothing to the heads other than paint and coat them. Only the 1/16-ouncers have their barbs removed.
I purchase much of my craft fur from Hancock and Jo-Ann Fabrics. Have been tying hair jigs for about 6 years now and have a pretty good eye for it in these stores.
I purchased a lot of craft fur from a supplier in FL when I began tying hair jigs. I'll see if I can find a link.
The olive-colored jigs are tied primarily with Polar Fiber. I purchased it at Orvis in Carmel, IN.
