got to fish yesterday with pretty nice weather early then started getting pretty windy.Had 7 keepers in the boat in the first 30 to 40 minutes.Had to move alot due to the wind but ended up with 13 nice keeper fish, and 3 was really nice ones.:) Seen the hawk and the carp man while there.Also seen what appreared to be about a 6 point buck come down and get a drink of water.The fall colors are still right pretty, but turning to winter colors in a hurry.
Took a picture or two while out fishing.
Hey I know that area now I need to come on down and work it for you when you are working..Good looking fish you and BOS have there.

It turned a little windy on the lake on Saturday and I see that GCF and BOS were fishing my marker that I left in the water. You can see it in the first picture. It the orange square one. We caught a couple of fish right off the bat in the morning and was forced to move because of the wind. Went down by the dam and camped out ended up with 23 keepers. None of them were great fish with the biggest at about 12 inches. Most were 16' deep and even caught some at 12' under the float. All came on assasins. When we left we saw FH and crew all lined up out of the wind. They looked like they were leading the parade.

Now you know as well as I do, if BOS see's something orange unattended lying around on the lake, he's gonna confiscate it.Besides, we knew that was your bouy all along cause they wasn't but one fish even near it and we caught it.lol
GCF, I threw that bouy out just to throw you off the trail. I cannot believe you actually caught a fish in that spot. I must have had a guys spot down by the dam becuae a guy in a red Triton kept coming real close to me and watching very intently. I just kept bringing fish over the side. Caught more dinks on Saturday than normal. It was good to have my front HB back in action again. The new transducer did the trick. Good luck on Wednesday! Got to fish that end hard for now because it will be closed soon so the birds will not be disturbed you know.
