I'm not so sure the time is right. I told her I needed "money" to 1) Fix my H'bird and 2) replace my Lowrance, quite proud of myself for studiously ommitting the exact budget this "investment" would require. She told me, "step off dude, you're broke". At which point I explained, "Woman, I've given you every dang one of my paychecks for 18+ years now and if I'm broke, you're doing a crappy job of managing my money".
On the bright side, I'm betting that by the time I get to go fishing, the crank bait bite will be in full swing again.
