From Yesterday when searching out some future spots. Wish the pic had all of what I wanted to show, but that tree top on the bottom has a huge tree with it.

Nice pic. Can't wait for the new version and updates to come out. One day I will be able to afford one.
There is a new software update coming out in 2010 that I am looking forward to which will show more right under the boat so it will be much improved then. Now need to wait on new units with software updates that are free.
Humminbird completely turned around when they were bought out and Lowrance also did a complete turn around when they were bought. Just each turned around in opposite directions. Now HB will own this tech! It is not even close as to who has the better customer service! I was a Lowrance guy for a long time, but not any more. Even using the same map chips the HB will show things the Lowrance will not and there is no excuse for that.

Ditto on the Lowrance and Humminbird deal. I was once a hard core Lowrance man could not have given me a Humminbird. Goes way back to when they quit supporting the CH-30. Humminbirds papergraph model back then. I had spent 485.00 on that thing and that was expensive back then. Loved and it found fish for me like a champ. Then it broke and the Old Humminbird people told me basically TOUGH. My soreness lasted until 1999 I think. A period of about 25 years. ( yes I do hold a grudge ) .
Read about the 737 humminbird on this site and despite all the rave reviews would not buy one. When I read that they had been bought out by Johnson Outdoors I decided to give another chance. Several thousand dollars later I am still happy. 987C , 797C , 997C etc.etc.
I think the Lowrance people are going the way Winchester did back in the mid-60's. I relly hate to see a company that was once great degenerate into a cuss word.
