Rough on Rayburn for me today

Took my son and went fishing today. Beautiful day for fishing, great weather, slight breeze (for a while) and water temps in the upper 70's.
The cold front that supposedly came thru last night shut them down some for us. Got 2 keeper crappie, 3 throwback crappie, 1 bluegill, 3 so so catfish and 1 green keeper but we throwed them all back today. Didn't want to fool around for 2 crappie.
Fished in 15-20' of water using minnows and most were shallow 7-9' on trees over brush. I know it's going to get better. Ferdi aka Fred

Hey Fred at least you are fishing. Seems like i have some thing going on every weekend to keep me from being up there. I have not forgot about thar jig fishing trip I promised you just have not had a weekend. I will get with you when i have a day.

yes I have not been in something like 6 weeks and that was not a long outing. Had my Central AC & Heat changed out this week and had a bad board so took a couple days to finish. Was going to try today, but the AC guy was coming.

Soon I will get out, but the weather is supposed to be rain a good many days.
