Where to find Bamboo

I was interested in where a person might procure some bamboo to make the crappie beds. Of all the crappie structures I have seen this one seems to last the longest and hold more fish. I live in Missouri but I could travel to get it if necessary. How far south do I need to go? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It grows wild here in louisiana What i would do is get you some and take back and grow it. the stuff grows fast and can get out of control if not monitored though.
