I want to add another trolling battery(peters out to quick as is)and was wondering if it would hurt my on board charger to be charging 2 batteries instead of one? I will be hooking up in parallel, not series.:confused: Will it just take longer or can it damage my charger?
It should be fine as long as it's still 12 volts (parallel). It will take longer to charge tho.
It works fine. I've been doing it for a couple of years now.

it is recomended you not sleep while the charger is on
