Stuffed Bristle Jig

Materials:
- One-sixteenth ounce darter head jig (collared) with #4 gold hook.
- Orange nail polish.
- Devcon 2T Epoxy for topcoat.
- Black/white acrylic paint for base coat and eyes.
- Coats polyester monofilament thread #9900 (clear, 0.004-in. diameter).
- Orange marabou feathers.
- Blond nylon bristles.
- Thin tinsel (assorted dark colors).
Would love to see that jig in the water. Sounds like a strange mix of stiff and soft materials, trying to picture it wet. Would think it would make a very good craw-type jig.

I went through some of the old tackle I'd purchased at a flea market recently and found some Nylon jigs. I'd remembered that my Grandfather fished with similar ones on the big lake (Lake Michigan) for yellow perch.
A web search revealed some information about Nylon jigs that I found interesting. To summarize, saltwater anglers fish them for toothy fish due to their durability. The reflective nature of the stiff bristles makes it somewhat attractive, though its stiffness makes for much less movement than other materials.
Thought I'd combine the durability of the Nylon with the breathing action of marabou feather. Maybe create a hybrid that might attract a few crappie and protect the jig's feathers somewhat.
