Gonna be a stinky situation no matter how it happens!
thought he was just fishing. Thats kewl and all but afte my little episode with the 5 foot shark in knee deep water the other day, I'd do way more than POOT if I saw a shark in open ocean and had no where to run. LOL
Just hit the shark in the nose and he will leave you alone.
I ain;t skeered of much but being eaten alive, yeh, that terrifies me
Don't be a pansy DD.....Just one quick karate chop to the head should do it.....
Least I will get in the ocean these days. I USED to wouldn't have gotten over ankle deep. My first trip to Cancun a few years back was the first time I snorkled in the ocean. Had a blast for sure but it took quite a few Taquella and sprite shots to get me off that catamaran. LOL
Torch, that just ain't so. I was down about 100' & had just speared he biggest flounder I had ever seen. Out of the dark, I see a object but could't make out what it was. Wasn't long til I could. An 8' Bull shark making circles & getting closer with each one. I decided to protect my flounder bu kneeling in the sand, one knee on each side. He got into range (bout 4') & I started hitting him on the nose with my spear gun. Shark totally ignored me & went straight for my flounder. I pushed up off the bottom as hard as I could & watched as he finished off my fish. That nose business didn't work for me. Lose more fish to sharks but never tried that trick again.:eek:
I usually unintentinally feed one or two a year......they are just another part if the ocean to me now....but then again I aint been bit YET!, Ive had beter luck unbanding my spear gun and shooting one banded in the tail, but Bulls are a different animal.
