Went out two or three hours today. I managed about 12 small ones and one really nice one (about 2lbs.). Got all of them off of Gold Point in the brush pile off of the red boat trail marker just off of the point.
I tried some good ole Crappie Pro "Shade Fishin" :D but did not get one. I did go into the pool. Not much action there. Only got one, and it was under the walking bridge.
I think the pool will come in early this year. I can't wait!!:D
In another couple of weeks, I will be tight lining in the pads along the creek. I usually can catch a few as they migrate towards the pool.

Hey Joe i last fished last Sunday caught just eight 9-11 inch fish around trees, After three limits my numbers fell off but still getting a few, they do that sometimes, ill bet i saw about 5-6 boats working the area last sunady evening. On the bright side it happens that way they have thier days when they just wont bite. but l believe they r there, this area is thier prime stage area before they head into the creek and will bite under the right conditions. Keep trying cos sept is my very Fav month to fish this area.
