I am looking for an easy way to clean aluminum? Specifically my wheels and jack plate. Does anyone know of something I can spray on to clean them without a huge amount of elbow grease.

Tom....I use the scrubbing bubbles on my jack plate and does a good job. If it's real bad try some baking soda and 4/0 steelwool.
Thanks Frosty I will try those. I was using the stealwool but man it is going slow, I will add some baking soda.
In the transportation industry, we use a citric-acid cleaner for aluminum. Shines it up like new - removes oxidation with very little elbow grease. Used to use it on our tracker, and I've done my canoes, etc with it as well.
My son was told to go to Napa Autoparts Store and pick up a gallon of something called "Grill and Wheel Cleaner." Comes in a gal. jug and isnt very expensive (abiout $5 I think). Takes little to no elbow grease and made his Basstracker look almost like new again just by spraying on and rinsng off. (Jug doesnt come with a sprayer on it so you'll need a spray bottle.;))
