ok. it was only 5 inches long but at least i got one! (on a minnow, bobber fishing at about 5 feet) i'm thinking of deep fishing at a few spots where i saw this guy pull out slabs left and right this past october. if that don't work, i'll be meeting this guy at his favorite spot to learn his secret! LOL!
dhubby caught two nice ones over weekend using the "special spot". he stated that the man that i met last year showed up around 1 pm and took home all the crappie that he caught..even under 9 inches.
i dunno. i kinda want the crappie fishery to expand in Kincaid. dh only brough home crappie over 10 inches...
we plan to put in some structure near our place. hopefully, the crappie will be right off our dock next year!
