Bluegill/bream jigs

Here's some jigs I've been tying. Some of them are based on fly patterns that have worked very well for bluegill and such.

The Chrome Dome. The fly pattern uses a silver bead head and I've caught countless rod-bending bream with it. Sorry about the pic size. I tried to re-size it but no dice.

The Pheasant Tail Nymph- a trout and bream slayer. I tease out fibers from the wingcase and bend them to make that leggy look. The legs won't last that long around bluegills but they look cool for the time being.

I really like the chrome domes. What size hook and head weight do you use?

I really like The Pheasant Tail Nymph....looks like it may took some time to make that 1.

Len: I tie them on 64th and 32nd oz. jig heads. Not quite sure of the hook size... maybe an 8 or a 6? A silver plated jig head would make the jig closer to the fly

Thanks Bluegill. It does take a little time to tie, at least a few minutes. You can't see it in the photo, but there is copper wire counter-wrapped over the wound pheasant tail abdomen to make it stronger, as pheasant tail can be brittle.

I seen 3 or maybe 4 pieces that looked like cooper but wasnt goin to make myself look stupid & ask you (in case it was the color of the thread or w/e you use).Regardless it looks absoutely incredible to me.
