Woods 7/11

Had to go. Couldn't let the fish have the final word after beatin me up Thursday and Friday. Didn't have much time , and didn't get up super early just to go. Got to the Ferry about 7, Emily checked my creel at 10:30. I kept 11 up to 1.25lbs, total weight was 8.66 on her scale. Met a man named Dave in a real nice 1980 Ranger 16' boat, gave him all but 4 of the bigger ones and invited him to join our club.It was a bit windy, but the fish wanted a subtle presentation. All fish caught on jigs were taken on the fall, lots of patience. 1/32 in today's wind was a challenge, but not impossible. Most caught pitchin assassin's , and a few still fell for the feather jig n minnow. 15' of water, bite slowed to a stop at about 9. Here's a pic of the 4 I kept, just enough for a good dinner for mom & I.

Gald you got to go and catch some. I was wishin I was there, but we were shopping for school clothes and supplies for the kids.

I get spoiled at the candy store, trying to cure my sweet tooth. When GCF and I went there last time, neither of us turned a fish. That's gettin beat up!!

It was a late afternoon visit with some hot weather that day. I am gearing up for a fishing weekend. I cant wait.
