I am rern't boys and girls
I told the wife I was going to DeGray just to learn some more about it last Friday....I wasn't expecting her to say she was coming too. After all of the required sight seeing and a shore lunch, she said "don't let me stop you from fishing". Yea right; 102 degrees and choppy water from all of the boats.
I remembered I had put my new Bandits in the boat so I decided to give them a try. Really all I was doing was more sight seeing when I noticed one of the poles doing funny stuff. I reeled in a 14" or better crappie. I did this 4 more times. Man!! I wonder what would have happend if I had went out to do some serious fishing.
I wished I could give some scientific details and locations. I know I was using 300's, about 15' to 20' deep, 1.6 to 2mph, I cast them out as far as I could, and I was on the upper end and could see some kids jumping off of some cliffs.
But, I love this kind of fishing!!!! I can't wait to go back and make sure it wasn't an accident.

...but the Tennessee Shad NEVER last very long. It is my personal favorite. But don't be afraid to pull the strangest ones in your box. You can never tell what the specks will prefer from one day to the next.
