My wife & I and some friends of ours are coming to Hot Springs this weekend. I have heard about all the usual tourist stuff but do any of you have any not so well known about places to visit, etc?
How about a local place to eat that is maybe a closely guarded secret among the locals?
...in town, go to Smokin' In Style. It's located on 270 West going out of town toward Lake Ouachita. It's on the right in a strip mall if you're goin' west. It's just the absoulte best!!!Quote:

The big fireworks will be on the Hiway 7 Bridge. Follow Central Avenue SW out of town. The bridge crossed Lake Hamilton. If you're bringin' your boat, get on the water early. Hamilton will be shore-to-shore boats before the fireworks go off.

The wife was planning on hitting the fireworks show at Magic Springs...I need to talk her into us getting out of there & going to the other one.
