I had just a little bit of soft lead, got plenty of the hard stuff, but gave it a trial run. I hope to also make these with other metals instead of lead so I don't have to paint them.

LOOKING GOOD!!!!!!!! Now if you powder paint make sure to wrap some aluminum foil around those swivels!!!! or you're in for a mess trying to get it off so they'll spin.
Before I bought the horsehead mold I would just cut the collar and barb off for tying. Left it on for plastics.
Are your fingers a bit warm gettin those swivels in straight so you could close the mold:D:D:p:p I can laugh as I've been there
Enjoy and keep up the good work. Before painting take a small emory board and hit the spot where you took the sprue (pouring spout) off makes painting a whole lot easier, no bumps

looks good sac-a-lait

Looks like you were busy. If you are going to foil the swivels - might as well do the eyes too, unless you are using hemostats on them.
hey fat man I been using a chop stick to put in the parts but yea it can get a bit warm. Not as bad as having molten lead splatter up on your hand or just a few drops...It burns man!!!
here's some just about finished. I won't be painting but will be using different metals to get different colors, etc

Hey fatman I even got a secret mold that I'm pouring in too. So I'm making all kinds of stuff...I'm using 4 molds. One for pony heads, one for regular round jig heads, a 2 oz bank sinker model that makes 4, 2 oz bank sinkers each pour and then the super secret mold. I poured some of the SS mold and went fishing and WOOOOOWWWW NELLY!!!!! I caught some pigs!!!
