Went to private lake today to do some bass fishing. Ended up panfishing. We caught 21 crappie and a dozen or so huge gills and crackers. The picture doesn't do crappie justice. They were 11 to 13 inches with big shoulders on them.

Whats that address? I missed that in your post and I am sure you need a few of us to hang around to keep the locals from sneaking in and stealing those crappie from the lake.
That's awesome! Private ponds can be great to fish. Heading to a private pond weds. to help with a church youth outing!
