Like to fish deep water.But when the spawn is starting and fish"crappie scatter out along the bank to spawn.This crappie bait will catch em. 1/8 oz mini spin.With a grub or swim bait.Not for little Fish.Can fish it through heavy cover where most crappie baits cannot get.Friends took these baits to Toledo Bend Texas and caught 100 crappie and 100 White bass on these baits with a Crappie swim bait.

It is a R bend type wire form used in it. Lots of Bass spinnerbaits use this style wire

Thanks for the question.The line tie is in the bend of the wire.To help keep the bait weedless or swim through thick cover or tree limbs with out hanging hook.The trick is to keep it straight.Hope this helps.

I like the R bend because the line doesn't foul during a cast and wind up behind the twist.

In my prior life as a bass fisherman I caught gobs of 2 lb crappie on spinnerbaits up to 1/2 oz. Still always have some in my bag.
