Crappie Spin Mold Mod

Coyote jigs! I have been messing with this for a few months to see the results and have given some samples out for testing with some good results. Hope this explains it well enough. This was my first wire keeper mold a few years back and is kind of rough. The 7th pic is mustad light wire hooks that broke after a few rebends. I use Eagle Claw 1350 for light wire hooks for now! I have since these photos made the wire insert one piece instead of two. Neighbor's cat likes the results.
Parts List = #1 Hammered Willowleaf Blade (3/4") , Size 14 Roller Swivel, Size 1 split ring and .024 stainlees wire. All from Jann's Netcraft.

Nice work there. I don't fish any of the jigs with the added blades but I like what you've done to get what you needed.

I take a short piece of .028 wire and put in the mold where I want the wire then tap it with a hammer to make an indent for a line. Then I use a dremal to cut a little deeper. My dentist has given me 100 very small bits for filling teeth. I have used a 3 corner file. Once you do one you will see how easy it is. I have done a lot of molds and have only messed one up over the years.

Very nice work Buddy. The pics of what you did really explains and shows how to accomplish adding that free swinging spinner.Thanks for the EC 1350 hooks. Will cast some up next week.

Looking great. Really like how you hooked the wire around the hook. Would be very easy to cut mold with a Dremel tool and a 1/16" diamond bit. This is how I've done it in the past.
