I've had some of their powder for over 2 years and it works fine. Keep it dry, out of high moisture rooms and direct sunlight.

Wanting to make an order with Columbia Coatings for some powder but their info says 6 month shelf life. Is that correct?
Any other info on their powder would be much appreciated.
If I dont ask its my fault for not knowing

Yes - I've got clear from 5 different places and used it as a mix with other brands and no problems. The only time I use a clear over another color is if I'm using glitter mixed in with it.
I have some that is at least 10 years old and it still works fine.

For the small size you're powdering I wouldn't worry about it.
I was told that you can cut your paint up to 50 percent with clear. What it does is, it gives it more of a deeper looking color. Very similar to how a clear coat works on a car's paint.
Also, Check out Roseys Powder Coatings. Rosey's Powder Coating | Rosey's Powder Coating They always seem to have a great sell going on. That and a couple of times a year, they have a 25 and 50 percent off sale.
Hope this helps,

When at CC stay away from the Dormant colors unless you have a lot of time to powder. The color in the jar is the color it is but when you coat the jig head it looks silver, then you bake for 10 mins, then dip in the clear coat then finish curing. For me it's just having to clean out the eyes twice.
As soon as I run out of it I won't buy any more.
