Toster Oven Advice

What is the best toster oven to buy also being the not so expensive kind to cure my jig heads after powder coating? How do you guys hang your jigs in the oven?

i got a toaster oven and a reg oven at my disposal and my thought of the reg oven is let say better then the toaster oven. the toaster oven does not warm up or bake the jig correctly so i think... any ways all i use in the reg oven is a cookie sheet tray out of the cabinet i put tin foil on it to keep the paint from "sticking to it"...

i made a hanging rack out of a metal coat hanger and the bead chain sold at walmarts for lights the pull chain to be exact. then took and split a copper wire about 12 inches long 10 gauge to be exact. left overs from a 12 volt set up scrap if you will and the copper wire is the stuff i used to lash down the bead chain to the metal coat hanger.

if you need a picture of the coat hanger set up i can take one juts let me know if you need one then. then all i do is pre-heat oven to 350 and set the timer for 15 minutes then let air cool and your done...

if you got a good oven at home use that don't buy another by the way i can hang about 50 jigs per hanger two per cookie sheet. so 100 per cookie sheet.. so mite be able to fit up to 4 cookie sheet in at a time? not sure size of your oven?

I bought one at wally for just over $20 on sale. Mine has a wire rack that when put in the high slot will allow me to hang about 225 small heads and less as they get bigger. The Pro-Tec chartreuse that I use has left a residue around the sides of the door. Glad I didn't use Mama's oven or I would have a full size oven in the grudge.

No problems curing them in the oven I got at Freds for around 25 bucks.

here's how i do it i got 48 on this rack two of the fifty had to be re-poured will get to it sooner or later. this is the rack i use and how it's set up very basic if you will.. set the oven timer 15 minutes and your all set you can throw the jig as hard as you can against cement and it will not chip at all if cured right!

Found mine for $3 at a thrift shop and use a oven thermometer to be sure the temperature is correct. Holds 200 16th easily. Be sure to get one with the rack and not just a tray.

I just use the kitchen oven. Works well.

bought at Wally World for $20 and the temp is spot on and has a timer. I am new to this but seems to work good or me so far.

I'm a kitchen oven also that's why I wait to get a lot of heads to cure as my wife and I have a deal that after I use it I clean it!!! I use aluminum bread pans with the edges turned over and use a hole punch and hang my jigs from those. Any drips go in the pans
