The story behind all of these pictures of catfish that we've sent in this summer is that they were all caught in lake marion [that's the upper lake of the santee cooper lakes] we actually caught them off the old hwy 301 bridge[next to I95] using fresh herring and/or live bream. This is a place I like to share with others bc you don't need a boat to catch big fish there, I do have a boat but durring the summer months I prefer to fish right off the bridge, however you do need heavy rods with braided line and a hoop like the ones they use on the piers at beach, a gaff on a long rope will also work.We will be looking foward to see you all there.
