and get us all in a froth... and not give us more!!! That just ain't right!!!
    Beautiful crappie. Thanks for sharing.

Talking sorry first time on the thread

well it was this past thursday night. good night.. weather was around mid 40's and just a hint of wind SE. fishing on highway 8 near point harbor rd. down on the rocks where hwy 8 meets the railroad tracks...really had nothing to do that day and decided to go fishing that night! well got there around 6ish and weather was nice...not a full moon but good overall. water levels were low...compared to last weekend but thats typical at high rock aha ...well crappie was hitting slow...here and there...just not what i would expect from a night like this... every now and then i'll hit one or two...but undersize..started slow...jigging with kalin's tenn shad grub and no action...then decided to go the live minnow route...steady hits for about two hours...but no real action...started to do the whole .."let me check facebook on my phone since nothing is going on" and b4 you know it ..i noticed my lighted bobber ....about a foot under water moving slowly away from bankside...picked up my rod...and set the hook....at that instant my drag just went haywired....zZZZZZZZ...realizing i set the drag on low...i tighted the drag and as i did that i then realized i got something big...blue fox light bobber was totally submerged...i could barely see the red light ....line shoots left hard....and im like ..."its gotta be a large mouth" ...got it back to the rocks and as the fish surfaced ...i got a small glimps a huge silver body right b4 it dived back down under.. said to myself "thats not a large mouth". finally got it out the water and to my surprise....a big o'l crappie! rare for that area of high rock!

Now that's just a whole lot better report than the first one byrdman.
See... Now we know where you were; that you were fishing from the bank; what the temperature and wind was like; what you were fishing with; that it was a scattered bite; that you started off with plastics and switched to minnows; and even the circumstances of your catching this fine crappie... while messin' with your facebook page on your cell phone.
Appreciate your gettin' back to us with the details.
Good Job!!!... Good Report!!!... and a very nice crappie to be proud of.
    Thanks for sharing.
