Had this for a few years now and have maybe used it on 10 catfish. Just dont clean big fish that need it anymore, maybe someone here does. This would not be good for crappie imo, its stiff. Probably be good for cutting meat, or bigger fish like cats/stripers/pike/saltwater etc. its still wicked sharp. 9 inch blade

I bet it would be! Very nice knife, wish I caught fish big enough to use it. Its one of the early ones back when they first started really marketing themselves and called it the “stiffie”, now the PR generation wont let them say that and they changed name to “stiff”. Its back when their steel was really good and held an edge for days
