A new bait shop opened near Shenango lake. It’s located on Tamarack Drive and route 846.

There is also one on Rutledge Road, in that little plaza. Where does one fish at right now? Went and got gas at 5 points, and the water is still up in the launch by the 846 bridge.

Camp ground and Parker’s ramps are open. If your fishing from shore, beach area and old camp ground on East lake road is fishable.

Caught 6 over 12 inches this morning and maybe 5 or so under. Larger fish came on larger minnows. Fish were 7-8 foot down in11 fow. Wind played havoc with staying on brush piles. Only fished for 2 hours for crappie. Fished 2 hours for walleyes and no fish.
