What a mess. Water looked like chocolate milk today in every area I fished. I managed to put 16 in the boat with nine being keepers. Dark colors worked best. Not many shoreline blowdowns still in the water but I found two and they both produced nice fish. Wind was a big factor today, again. Didn’t see another boat all day. Might head out again tomorrow morning as the wind won’t be a big factor then. Will post if I go.

7 1/2 ft below summer pool :dono . Can probably walk across the lake bottom at Parkers landing area. If I get out tomorrow, I’ll take some pics of how low the lake is. Unbelievable how many points are in this lake dropping into the river channel. Even in the Mahaney area of the lake. Hope I can still get my boat in safely.
Be cautious out there Smitty if you decide to launch. I opted out of a trip up there when I saw your reports of chocolate milk water and light action. With the weather still likely to be nice the next 2 weeks yet, I may still pass through just to see the lake at this level and increase knowledge.
