    Default Pinchot crappie fishing

I fish for 3 or 4 hours and did not catch a crappie. I got 5 or 6 small bass but I guess the crappie are not in the dam breast area were I fished. It was a great day to be out. I have not been out or 3 weeks due to minor healthl problem and was tired of the same four walls. Also the Yellobreches anglers stocked the Breeches and many were enjoying the trout fishing as well.

It has 8 plus inches of ice. This could last for a while. We fished Marbug Sunday and got14 perch. Kept 8 an2 ere jumbos.

Please let me know if you get some crappie. PM me if you like. I have been paying a lot of dues on the ice the last few weeks and need some good advice.

Fished Pinchot for about a hour. There were 6 guys at the dam breast and only saw 1 small crappie caught. One guy said he did ok earlier with about 20 small ones. Perhaps keeping all those 6,7 inch fish is hurting the good fishing. IMO

I couldn't agree with this more. It finally catching up to all the people that are keeping every single crappie that they catch down at the dam.

I fished it today for about 1/2 hour. Not one crappie. Also not one fishermen, not sure what is going on? I do know we should not keep every 6 inch crappie we catch.
